Adopt a Labrador Retriever (medium coat)

Labrador Retriever (medium coat) Dog

Hershey the Dog needs a home

Please just be sure you can keep him forever, he has loved and lost way too many times. This three-year-old male has found himself homeless three times through NO fault of his own (mind you, it rarely is the dogs fault). Hershey was found as a stray puppy in Kern County. He was impounded at the shelter where he was adopted to a family that later surrendered him back to the shelter because grew too big. He found another home that had another dog. Both dogs really got along well for some time. The other dog became sick with diabetes and the family could no longer keep Hershey as the older dogs medication cost more than they could afford. So unfortunately it was back to the shelter for this wonderful, large playful boy. Yes he is large; he is also a good boy that wants to please. We are working on his manners now, how to walk on a leash, how to take treats gently. He would love a family, another dog, people to go walking with. He would be good in any situation.

Please just be sure you can keep him forever, he has loved and lost way too many times.
